Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross and NLS Programs

BRONZE MEDALLION Life Saving Society Bronze Medallion courses will be offered Mondays, starting January 2012 (see schedule below). Prerequisites: accomplished swimmer i.e. Red Cross Swim Kids Level 10 or Star 6 and 13 years of age, or Bronze Star . Cost is $355 which includes the manual and exam fees, plus HST. Red Cross Standard First Aid and CPR courses will also be offered to Bronze Medallion candidates only. The cost will be an additional $135.00 plus HST which includes the manual and exam fees. |

BRONZE CROSS Life Saving Society Bronze Cross courses will be offered during January and February 2012 (see schedule below). Prerequisites: Bronze Medallion and 14 years of age. Cost is $325 plus HST, which includes the exam fees. |

NLS The National Lifeguard Service course is the minimum requirement to be employed as a lifeguard (see schedule below). Prerequisites: Bronze Cross and 16 years of age. Cost is $375 plus HST, which includes the manual and exam fees. |

All candidates must be 16 years of age, have Bronze Cross and Standard First Aid with CPR C
Recertification cost $125. plus HST. CPR must be current to recertify, contact jan for more info.
Price $375 plus HST, per candidate includes books, exam fees and some first aid equip.

Price $135. plus HST per candidate includes book, exam, certification. Recerts $50 plus HST.
As per Red Cross regulations, you may only recertify once then you need to take a full course.
3. Lifesaving Society Bronze Medallion 2012 is offered on Monday nights 6:30 to 9:30 January 9, 16, 23, 30 and February 6, 13, 20, 27 and March 5, 2012. Exam date is April 9, 2012.
4. Lifesaving Society Bronze Cross 2012 is offered on Monday nights 6:30 to 9:30 January 9, 16, 23, 30, and February 6, 13, 20, 27 and March 5, 2012. All candidates must be 14 years of age and have completed Bronze Medallion. Exam date April 9, 2012.
